Info:

A new Robsoul release and another new addition to the label family in the shape of Berlin based Japanese artist Hideto Omura.
Having been inspired by the skills and sounds of Carter, Farina, Cajmere, Omura took to the decks himself back in the early naughties.
His natural beat running, mixing swing and selection always guarantee an enviable energy and electricity on dancefloor.
A move to Germany accelerated Hideto’s increasing appetite for the studio and it wasn’t long before he was creating beats of his own.
Now, with two digital releases under his belt and having impressed label boss Phil Weeks with his demos, he prepares to unveil his Robsoul debut, Love Like This.
Omura’s love of all things jazz is evident on lead track ‘Pack It Up’. Piano chords, flute and the throb of a double bass, melt together to create a smokey basement bar soundtrack. The brilliantly and aptly titled, ‘It’s Been Sampled’, continues the jazzy vibe. Tickled keys dance with horns and whistle as the funk guitar
hides in the shadows and a plucked bassline keeps the authentic vibe throughout.
The title track plays a trick on the ear as its elongated, smooth as silk intro seems to deliver to us to close before we’re even aware. A deep and delicious dancefloor tool.
In a similar vein ‘Aigua Blava’ is a filtered joy as ivory rain drops, chimes and vocal woops, create another creamy house cut.

Release Date: April 2015
