Mo’ house, mo’ grooves, mo’ good vibrations… Having previously united us all with his debut Robsoul at the start of 2019 ‘Bring Together’, selector don and Ibiza legend Mo’Funk returns with four more sweet soul twisters.
His most varied and cosmic collection to date, we kick off with ‘Feel That Way Again’, a track that keeps on paying with different additional musical layers and star-gazing twists right until the eight minute finale. It’s backed by three equally charming space oddities: ‘All Night Long’ is a total G-unit with just the right amount of Troutman-style talkbox sleaziness from long time collaborator, talk box genius Sergio Selim, while both ‘So Good’ and ‘Keep Playin’’ see him team up with moustachioed groove whisperer Sondrio for the grand adieu… The former bumps like a classic Om joint, all west coast and breezy. The latter thumps with double kick/bass pumps and a funk guitar line wrapped tighter than marine’s bungee.
Four mo’ cuts from a man who’s having the best year of his life right here. Expect plenty mo’ heat in the future.
