The Robsoul family expands once more… Please welcome Denver-based producer Armbar, a long-standing US house craftsman who’s recently appeared on the likes of Greenskeepers and Salted and is now making his debut on Phil Weeks’ long-standing Parisian imprint.
Armed with a very sharp nose for a hypnotic groove, the whole EP is a heavyweight statement of intent that covers the entire house menu… The super-sized Romero-styled slinker ‘Pressure Fob’, the depth plunge subs and dreamy cascades of ‘Can Say’, the hammering, high energy jack of ‘Untold’ and the seismic slaps and filtered tickles of the final strut-out ‘Fight4Dub’.
Each cut laced with its own distinct flavour and tailored for different chapters of the night, but fully faithful to the house music tradition and the signature Robsoul sound, Armbar keeps us in submission in four different positions. No pressure whatsoever.
