Phil brings us Robsoul Revisions, a sub label giving us remixes of classic previous releases from his imprint. David Duriez's "Minimal Soul Vocal Mix" lays the illuminating vocal over kick percussion, reverberating synths and a malevolent bass. David's dub takes the bass into the shadows while the synth becomes horn like over simple percussion. DJ Rork's "The Vice RK's Mix" takes fx edges, tear drenched synths and beautiful slow burning keys, over which he places the vocals which take a matter of fact type tone.
