With his new artist album on the horizon and our first taster, A Man Needs A Woman, still causing damage as it approaches its release, Robsoul boss Phil Weeks makes an immediate return with another hot-off-the-press collection and a new slice from the much anticipated long player. Leading the EP is A Woman Alone. Deep, percussive and driven by its mighty kick drum, the album track pairs smooth soul vocal trips with crisp classic sounds. Perfect. Queen of Fools sees Phil going in hard on the drum machines as he works his MPC3000 and TB303 to create this bubbling, acidic jacker.
