Having kicked off the year with a heavily supported release on Djebali’s self-titled imprint, Parisian born Londoner REda daRE tail-ends 2015 with another impressive collection of tracks and a much welcomed debut on Robsoul Recordings.
REda daRE’s brand of deep, smooth, jackin’ funk makes him a perfect new addition to the Robsoul family and his ‘Music Makes Me High’ EP couldn’t be truer to its name. Opening with ‘We Used To’, the perfect party-starter with its infectious groove and gentle chords, REda daRE has us moving and shakin’ from the off. A theme that runs throughout the EP as ‘Manimal Death’, ‘Rdna’ and the final percussive title track take a hold, get under the skin and whilst never peaking, present us with the perfect tools to gently build the perfect electricity and intensity on the dancefloor.
