Phil Weeks feat GG – Music Is A Vice
The diversity of the label is shown again, with this release from label boss Phil Weeks. The original featuring G.G is a Naked esque smooth vocal houser. Using a throbbing club break, low down bass and heavenly synth/keys, G.G’s vocals croon half spokenly over all. The dub takes a similar vibe, with a resonating key melody, full strength bass and some extra percussion.
While the “Afteremix” by Gweeks (Frédéric “G” Mendes) adds some swirling fx, keys snippets and vocal samples while the meticulous bass lifts the whole melody above the clouds.
