‘Switched On’ gets the motor running with its rubberball bass, chop-slap beats and a breakdown into a delicious Bobby McFerrin flavoured vocal hook. Elsewhere ‘What About’ twists up acid with purring falsettos to create a Classic Music flavoured vibe, ‘Music Is My Soul’ bounces with a playful sense of mischief and an ridiculously addictive hook while ‘Ruby’s Groove’ closes with a big fat funky kiss.
