Robsoul boss Phil Weeks long-time friend, Cory Wells, steps up on the label with a first from a selection of forthcoming freshness from the American producer.
Bringing the same vibes as featured on cuts for Guided Method and Vibezelect, Wells bursts into life with Only For Kisses, a cantering jam that’s pushed along by flecks of percussion and a live jazz bass that gives the track its swing.
‘Party Down’ gets loooow with its drop-top groove, before ‘Who Do You Love’ brings a calypso-licked RnB flava in time for the summer.  Final jam, ‘What We Gunna Do’ runs heavy on the filters, with its bulbous bass line, chunky kick drums, pressurised hi hats and spoken-word vocal, to create a soulful deep groover.
